Dr Thind completed his medical degree at The University of New South Wales, and obtained specialist qualification in anaesthesia at Prince of Wales Hospital and Royal North Shore Hospital.

Dr Thind has experience in all areas of anaesthesia, with particular interests in Laparoscopic surgery, Ear Nose and Throat, General, Plastic and Cosmetic, Orthopaedic, Obstetric and Gynaecology, Upper Gastrointestinal surgery, Ophthalmology and Ultrasound guided regional anaesthesia. He also provides epidural analgesia for labour.

He is a member of Australian Society of Anaesthetists and Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

Dr Thind has appointments at public and numerous private hospitals in Sydney. These include Royal North Shore Hospital (teaching hospital for The University of Sydney), Hunters Hill Private Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital, Waratah Private Hospital, The Sydney Private Hospital, Sydney Southwest Private Hospital, Somerset Private Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital.
